USRT VISIT: October, 2011 NHL Buffalo v Los Angeles

Developed by the Anschutz Entertainment Group and bearing a
bit of a resemblance, to Los Angeles' Staples Center, the venue
is located in the Friedrichshain are aof the former East Berlin,
and is projected to be the anchor for a huge entertainment
district. It is home to the Eisbaren Berlin team in the DEL
 
SAP Arena
Mannheim, Germany
USRT VISIT  October, 2011 Buffalo Sabres v Adler Mannheim
(exhibition)

Mannheim's 13,500 seat SAP Arena is about as close to an
NHL ready arena as one can find in Germany. Located three
miles east of the city center along a tram and railroad line, the
venue is the home of the DEL's powerhouse Adler Mannheim
team, in a region where soccer is not king the team enjoys great
fan support.
 
Olympia Eishalle
Munich, Germany
USRT VISIT: March 2013 EHC Red Bull Muenchen

The Olympia Eishalle was built and opened in 1967, and has
been the home of several pro hockey teams over the years, now
the home of the DEL's EHC Red Bull Muenchen team. The
arena sits on the grounds of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games,
with many of the sports venues still open and in use.

Hartwall Areena
Helsinki, Finland
USRT VISIT: October, 2011 NHL Buffalo v Anaheim

Opened in 1997, the building is actually elliptically shaped, with
a practice rink situated in the basement. It is the home for the
Jokerit hockey team in the KHL, with a seating capacity of
13,349. THe venue is easily accessed via the Pasila train
station, a short ride from the main station in downtown Helsinki.

PostFinance Arena
Bern, Switzerland
USRT VISIT: February, 2013 SC Bern

It is the largest arena in Switzerland, with a capacity of over
17,000 for hockey, and icnredibly, 10,000 of those fans wathc
the game from a massive standing room perch on the second
level of the facility where a sloped roof slides down to the other
side of the rink, giving the seating bowl a distinctive look. It is
the home of SC Bern of the Swiss hockey league.

Sheffield Arena
Sheffield, England
USRT VISIT: October, 2015 Sheffield Steelers

Opened in 1991, Sheffield Arena is located in the Yorkshire
region of England, and is the premier sports and concert
venue in the area, competing with a similar venue in nearby
Leeds. The building is the home for the Sheffiled Steelers
hockey club in the British Elite League and seats 9500 for
hockey.
 
Altrincham Ice Dome
Manchester, England
USRT VISIT: Ocotber, 2015 Manchester Phoenix

With fixed seating of just 2000, the Ice Dome was actually
initially constructed as a temporary venue in 2006, and is the
home of the ELite League's Manchester Phoenix. Imagine
getting traction for hockey in a city that hosts football clubs
Manchester United and Manchester City.
 
SkyDome Arena
Coventry, England
USRT VISIT: March, 2013 Coventry Blaze

Opened in 1999, SkyDome Arena is part of a multi purpose
entertainment venue which includes cinemas, play venues,
restaurants and nightclubs. It has a 3000 seat capacity and is
the home of the Coventry Blaze hockey club of the British Elite
League. Most notable player? Former NHL bad boy Wade
Belak, who played here during the 2004-05 NHL lockout.
